How to check your Focused Inbox status
Select your Inbox from the left column to ensure it is highlighted.

Look above your top email in the next column to the right.
- If 'Focused' and 'Other' are displayed, Focused Inbox is enabled.

- If 'All' and 'Unread' are displayed, Focused Inbox is disabled.

How to enable/disable Focused Inbox in the Outlook Desktop Application
Select the 'View' tab in the Outlook header, then click 'Show Focused Inbox' on or off.
- If 'Show Focused Inbox' has a shaded square surrounding it, Focused Inbox is enabled.

How to enable/disable Focused Inbox in the Outlook Web Application (Outlook.com)
Once you are logged into Outlook.com, find and click the 'settings gear icon' located at the top right of the page.

Toggle 'Focused Inbox' on or off.
