Using the Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration Add-In ยท IT Services Knowledge Base
โ ๏ธ Why report phishing?
Reporting suspicious emails helps IT Services protect the entire organisation. Even if you're unsure whether an email is malicious, it's always better to report it. Never click links or open attachments in emails you suspect to be phishing.
๐ Before you begin
Ensure the Check Point Outlook Add-In has been installed on your Outlook client. If you don't see the Check Point icon in your toolbar, please contact the IT Service Desk.
Step-by-step instructions
1
Select the suspicious email
In Outlook, navigate to and open the email you believe to be a phishing attempt. Do not click any links or download any attachments within the email.
2

In the Outlook toolbar at the top of the screen, look for the Check Point icon or button. In Outlook Desktop, this will appear in the Home ribbon. In Outlook Web App (OWA), it will appear in the message action bar.

Click the Check Point Add-In button. A panel or menu will appear. Select the 'Report Phishing' option from the available actions.

A confirmation prompt will appear asking you to verify your submission. Click Confirm or Yes to proceed.
5
Await confirmation
Once reported, you will receive a notification confirming your report has been submitted to the IT Security team. The email may be automatically moved from your inbox.
