Send as a Shared Mailbox (Outlook Desktop & Web Application)


Outlook Desktop (Windows)

  1. Open the From field: New Email → OptionsFrom (enable it).
  2. Choose the shared mailbox: Click From → pick the shared mailbox (or Other Email Address… and type it).
  3. (Important) View the mailbox folders: In the left pane, fully expand the shared mailbox and click Inbox for mail to start populating.

Outlook on the Web (OWA)

  1. Click your profile picture (top‑right) → Open another mailbox.
  2. Search/select the shared mailboxOpen.
  3. Compose a new email. If needed, click From and select the shared mailbox.

If the From line is missing (Desktop)

  • New Email → OptionsFrom (toggle it on).
