How to Send a Delayed E-Mail in Outlook

Sometimes you aren't able to be at your computer when you need an e-mail sent. In this article, we explain how you can set your e-mail to send at a later date/time.

Sending a Delayed E-Mail

  1. Open your Outlook desktop application.
  2. Click 'New Email' in the top right of your Outlook header.

      3. In the new email, click 'Options' followed by 'Delay Delivery'.

      4. Under 'Delivery options', check the box that says 'Do not deliver before' and set the future date and time that you want the message to send. After that, click 'Close'.

      5. Once you have set the date and time, you can now click send on your delayed email.
