How to Install Google Multi-Factor Authenticator

Follow the steps in this article to add a Google authenticator MFA extension in Google Chrome.

1. Sign into Florence so you can receive the QR code you’ll need to scan.
2. Navigate to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/authenticator/bhghoamapcdpbohphigoooaddinpkbai
3. Add the extension (you won’t need IT for this).
4. Once the extension is installed, be sure you’re on the Florence QR code page.
5. Click the extension button followed by authenticator.

6. Click the button below, it will let you scan the QR code. You’ll need to click the button then drag & drop the outline of the QR code.

You have now set up your Florence MFA account.

The next time you sign into Florence, you will be prompted to enter a code. Click the google authenticator button from the extension tab to find the code.
