1. Open Microsoft Outlook:

  • Launch the Microsoft Outlook application on your computer and sign in with your email credentials.

2. Access "File" Menu:

  • Click on the "File" tab located in the top-left corner of the Outlook window.

3. Go to "Options":

  • In the File menu, select "Options" located at the bottom of the navigation pane on the left.

4. Navigate to "Advanced":

  • In the Outlook Options window, click on "Advanced" from the list of categories on the left-hand side.

5. Locate "AutoArchive Settings":

  • Scroll down in the Advanced settings until you find the "AutoArchive" section.

6. Enable AutoArchive:

  • Check the box next to "AutoArchive" to enable the feature.

7. Choose Archiving Frequency:

  • Specify the frequency for auto-archiving by clicking on the "AutoArchive every" dropdown menu. Options range from one to 60 months.

8. Set the Default Archive File Location:

  • Click on the "Browse" button to select the default archive file (.pst) location on your computer.

9. Apply Archive Settings to All Folders:

  • Check the box labeled "Apply these settings to all folders now" if you want to apply the archive settings to all folders in your mailbox.

10. In the AutoArchive window, select individual folders and customize their archive settings.
