Setting Up a Sceptre Monitor

This is how to set up your Sceptre monitor out of the box.

Un-boxing

  1. Cut open the box.
  2. Pull out the contents inside of the box.
  3. Remove all the plastic and styrofoam.
  4. Attach the monitor arm to the monitor arm plate.
  5. Mount the monitor to the monitor stand.
  6. Plug the power adaptor into the monitor.
  7. Plug the HDMI into the laptop and the HDMI port on the back of the monitor.
  8. Plug the power adaptor into the wall.
  9. Press the power button on the bottom right of the monitor.

 

Switching Inputs

Sometimes, the monitor doesn't power on to the correct input. You will need to use the buttons on the back of your monitor (labelled below) to change which input your monitor is showing.

  1. Press the top button (open book icon).
  2. Press the select button (S) on 'Quick Start.'
  3. Press the middle button (down arrow) until you reach the 'Source' option.
  4. Press the select button (S) to change your input.
